Observation Tape Deck
A site-specific installation on the observation deck of the Foshay Tower in downtown Minneapolis, created as a part of the Northern Spark festival in 2012. 24 light bulbs and speakers connect to two recording stations, inviting participants to record their observations. Recordings are collected, travel around the observation deck, and vintage light bulbs illuminate when and where they are played back.
